We have a clear fee structure for every need, whether you're a home user with a single issue, a business that needs ongoing support, or a client with a new device to set up.

On-Site Consulting Fees (hourly rates including GST)

This is for when you need a professional to come to your location for a specific issue.

For Home Users
$ 160.00 / inc GST per hour (1hr minimum)

Our One-Hour On-Site Consulting fee is $160, which is also the minimum charge. This covers travel within our service area, a thorough look at your tech issue, and the one hour of our active work. Your first hour can cover a variety of services, such as:

For Business Clients
$ 200.00 / inc GST per hour (1hr minimum)

The One-Hour On-Site Consulting fee for support at your business is $200, which is also the minimum charge. This includes a full assessment, a detailed discussion on a solution, and the one hour of our work. Your first hour can cover a variety of services, such as:

  • Network and server support
  • Security software setup and configuration
  • Printer and shared device configuration
  • Business Hours are between 8:00am - 8:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • After Hours are between 8:00pm - 8:00am, Monday to Friday including Saturdays.
  • Additional loading is applied for Sunday and Public Holidays.
  • All fees are GST including.
  • Additional time is charged at 30-minute increments using the applicable hourly rate.
  • Changes to the Fees and or Terms and conditions may occur without notice.

Same-Day & Weekend Service

We understand that some tech problems can't wait. That's why we don't charge extra for same-day or weekend service. This service is always subject to availability.

Fixed-Price On-Site Set-ups

For common installations, we can often give you a fixed starting price so you know what to expect. These prices include our on-site visit and labour for a standard setup, but the final price may vary depending on the complexity of the job, the number of devices, and other factors.


This service is a one-time fee to get your new computer up and running smoothly.


  • Included:
    • Unboxing and Physical Setup: We'll unbox your new computer and connect all peripherals (monitor, mouse, keyboard).
    • Initial Configuration: We'll perform the initial power-up and guide you through setting up your user accounts and connecting to your Wi-Fi network.
    • Operating System Updates: We'll install any necessary updates to ensure your system is secure and up-to-date.
    • Essential Software Installation: This includes installing a web browser, anti-virus software, and a printer driver.


  • Not Included:
    • Data Transfer: This is a separate, optional service with its own fee.
    • Hardware Upgrades: The installation of new physical components like graphics cards, RAM, or a new hard drive.
    • Complex Network Setup: Troubleshooting issues on other devices on your home network beyond connecting the new computer.
    • Software Licensing: The cost of any paid software or subscription services.

This service is a one-time fee to get your new laptop ready to use.


  • Included:
    • Unboxing and Physical Setup: We'll unbox your new laptop and connect basic peripherals (mouse, printer, etc.).
    • Initial Configuration: We'll perform the initial power-up, set up your user account, and connect your laptop to your Wi-Fi network.
    • Operating System Updates: We'll install necessary updates to ensure your system is secure.
    • Essential Software Installation: This includes installing a web browser and an antivirus program.


  • Not Included:
    • Data Transfer: This is a separate, optional service with its own fee.
    • Internal Hardware Installation: Installing new RAM or a new hard drive.
    • Complex Network Configuration: Advanced networking, file sharing, or server setup.
    • Software Licensing: The cost of any paid software or subscription services.

This service is a one-time fee to get your new modem, router, or mesh Wi-Fi system set up.


  • Included:
    • Unboxing & Physical Setup: We'll unbox the device and connect it to your existing service.
    • Network Configuration: We'll configure your new Wi-Fi network with a new name and password.
    • Device Connection: We'll connect up to 5 devices (e.g., computers, phones) to the new network and confirm they have internet access.


  • Not Included:
    • Internet Service Provider (ISP) Troubleshooting: We will not spend time on the phone with your ISP to resolve service issues.
    • Advanced Networking: This does not include setting up port forwarding, a VPN, or a guest network.
    • Cost of Hardware: The price of the modem, router, or mesh system is not included.

Data Transfer Service

Data Transfer Service

Need to move your files from your old computer to your new one? We can handle that for you.


  • Add-on Price: $110
  • Conditions: This fixed price is an optional add-on service when you purchase a New Computer Setup or New Laptop Setup.
  • Includes: Up to 100GB of data transfer or up to 1 hour of time.
  • Note: If you only require data transfer without a new device setup, the service will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

Got a bigger project or need regular support? Our pre-paid time blocks are a cost-effective way to get the help you need. You're essentially buying a block of our time upfront, which gives you a discount on our standard hourly rates.


5-Hour Block

A great way to tackle a small-sized project or have a few sessions of support.


10-Hour Block

Perfect for ongoing IT support or a larger setup project for your home or business.


20-Hour Block

Our best value option for significant projects or long-term, regular support.

The easiest way to find out what our block rates are and which one is right for you is to get in touch! We can talk through what you need and recommend the best option.

What is Included in Our Service:

  • Initial consultation and diagnosis: We'll talk with you and figure out what's causing the problem.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution: We'll actively work to fix your tech issue.
  • Basic software and hardware setup: We can help with things like setting up a new printer or getting your network connected.
  • Recommendations and advice: We'll give you our thoughts on how to avoid similar issues in the future.

What is Not Included:

  • Cost of parts or new software: If your computer needs a new hard drive or you want us to install a paid program, the cost of those items will be separate. We'll always let you know before we buy anything, of course!
  • Data recovery from a completely failed drive: While we can help with basic data backups, we aren't a data recovery service for severely damaged or failed hardware. We can, however, recommend a specialist for that.
  • Repair of hardware with physical or liquid damage: Our services are focused on software and minor hardware fixes, not extensive repairs or replacements for physically damaged devices.

We aim to make your experience with GoGeeks convenient from start to finish, including how you pay. Payment is only processed once we've completed the agreed-upon service and you've confirmed your satisfaction. This means you see the results of our work before any payment is due.

For your convenience, all our team members are equipped with EFTPOS machines, allowing you to pay securely on-site using your debit or credit card.

Cash

We also accept cash payments.

Credit Card (via EFTPOS)

You can pay with your credit card directly through our EFTPOS machines. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX.

Please Note: Our EFTPOS machines are proudly provided by Commonwealth Bank and Suncorp Bank, ensuring secure and reliable transactions.

For home users, our minimum charge is $160 for the first hour. For business clients, the minimum charge is $200 for the first hour. After the initial hour, we bill in 30-minute blocks.

Our minimum charge for the first hour covers the time it takes for us to travel to your location, perform an initial assessment of the problem, and begin work. This ensures that you get a full hour of dedicated service.

We will always try to find free parking. However, if paid parking is required, the cost will be added to your final bill. We will be transparent and let you know about any potential parking fees upfront.
